I have some bad problems with this run. I've got a mesmer henchie in the party, some interrupting ranger hero, MM and a healer hero, healer henchie + some other dmg dealing henchies.

The problem is at point 5 - the dervish boss' group just wipes the party in few seconds. Skill suggestions or some tips would be greatly appreciated.

Also if you know if there is a better way to farm LB, let me know.

Full DoA runs are the best LB farms.

If you have high skill, full DoA runs are probably the best LB farms. If you can't do DoA, the official SS/LB farm is probably the best. I usually only do SS/LB runs on x2 SS/LB weekends.

Drop the ranger hero.

Bring Enfeebling blood somewhere on your heroes, AoE weakness is gg to melees in PvE.
In place of it, bring a rit support with strength of honor (If you are Melee). Or otherwise bring a curse.

Drop the healer hero.
Bring a support, para, RoJ, whatever.

Bring two healer hench, the dervish, and the para/earth ele/mes

meh, do LB/SS runs in wurms. boring and tedious, but uber easy and failproof.

Try vqing vabbi areas. Not as tedious or mind numbingly boring as SS/LB runs.

As for the boss, try using Pain Inverter. Derv bosses usually go poof when PIed.

Bit late with this, but whatever: back in the day I farmed that area too (Nightfallen Jahai) for LB points, and it was absurdly easy and quick because I kept the "Oddbodies" quest active.

Leave from gate of Nightfallen Lands with any half-decent team of H/H, fight a few groups til you reach The Oddbodies, and presto! You almost doubled the size of your team. They'll follow you and fight, and you will crush everything in your path. Just don't take them near the Gate of Torment exit.
